Our family went to KidZania last weekend and the kids absolutely enjoyed it. However, being typical kiasu Singaporeans, we felt that if we had been armed with some tips on how to maximize the trip, the experience could have been even better! So here we are, sharing what we learned from our visit to help you make the most of your own trip to KidZania Singapore.

đď¸ What to prepare before the trip
Let the kids know what to expect
Tip 1: Prior the trip, we showed the kids some reels on Instagram on the interesting jobs that they could try, they got hyped up and started planning for the roles they want to do. Will recommend your kid to be older than 4 years old to fully enjoy the activities.
Attire
Tip 2: The aircon is really chilly! Wear long pants and top that’s comfortable. Most jobs require kids to put on attire/uniform on top of their clothes.
Food
Tip 3: Bring your own snacks and drinks along to save some money, food options are limited inside and main meals costs over S$10 each. The beef burgers are yummy – costs S$19 each.
Portable Charger
Tip 4: Your job for the day? Photographer! You’ll be snapping lots of pictures, so donât forget to bring a portable charger to keep your phone battery from dying halfway through the fun.
Register in advance
Tip 5: For a smoother check-in, pre-register your selfies online before arriving.
đ When to Arrive & How Long to Spend
Plan for a Full Day
Tip 6: You’ll need to allocate a full day in (10am – 6pm) if you plan to cover most of the activities – even with minimal queues, so it’s no rush and your kids can get the full experience.
Arrive before Opening Time
Tip 7: Be at the gate just before opening time, so you do not need to wait for the previous batch to finish their activities.

đ§ Station Strategies
Consider the PaZZport
Tip 8: You can apply for the PaZZport (S$38 each) in the PaZZport office that is located near the entrance. It helps your child earn extra KidZos and works across all KidZania cities. That said, most kids we saw didnât have one. We hesitated tooâS$38 is steep! Fun fact: Itâs only RM38 in KL, so maybe grab it there first if youâre visiting.

Start at the Employment Office
Tip 9: To earn bonus KidZos, start with the Employment Office. Your kids take a quick survey to find out which jobs suit them, and the suggested jobs come with bonus earnings.

Read the Census Board, plan and strategize for maximum KidZos and time, or relax and let your kids take the lead
Tip 10: Every station has a Census Board outside, you’ll get an overview on the activity’s requirements, restrictions, rewards and benefits.

We were there the entire day with no queues, and the kids managed to complete 26 jobs. It honestly seems impossible to finish all the jobs in one visit. If you ever complete all the stations in one day, let us know in the commentsâweâd love to hear your strategy!
List of Jobs, Duration and Kidzos
We tried to compile those that we managed to see (not comprehensive), you can use this list as a planning guide to help estimate the number of activities you can fit into your trip. Some jobs earn KidZos, others cost them, and a few even offer free snacks!
Some jobs, like acting and fashion, run on specific schedules with showtimes. Take note of training times and recruitment cutoffs, especially if your child wants to join them!

⨠Bonus Tips
Redeem or not?
We werenât too impressed by the items available for redemption with KidZos at the moment. Since we purchased the PaZZport, we decided to save the KidZos instead. Our plan is to use them at another KidZania outlet when we travelâhopefully, the rewards there will be more worthwhile!
Go as a Family First
Should you go in a group? We think KidZania is a great place for playdates, but for a first visit, itâs actually better to go as a family. This way, your child can explore freely without being limited by group decisions. Once they know the ropes, bringing friends will make the next trip even more fun.
Review the day with your kids
We asked our kids which job they enjoyed mostâand to our surprise, it was the parcel delivery job! They repeated it several times. We told them that real-life delivery jobs donât come with air-con environment and involve much heavier parcels, they told us that they would like to try out the real work…well maybe we should let them try the real thing one dayđ
